I guess you should probably aso know that this is for a friend and she has two kids. They are aged one and four. And she resides in Ontario, Canada. We are in a more rural area, and of course need something easy acces. But I know there are alot of home-based ones around. And she is jsut curious on how much she could expect to pay for 32 hours a week.

if your friend is a single mom tell her to go to her local human resource agency they will help with the cost of daycare and they will help her find one too.

Hi,
Do you have the 5$ a day daycare in Ontario like we have in QC? It's 7$ a day now, but with any government run daycare she should be eligible. As for private daycare it can run her anywhere from 17$ to 28$ a day regardless of how many hours she works. The only good thing about private daycare now is that it's deductible on her income tax at the end of the year -- but that sucks if she's in a low paying job and she needs the money now!
