Go back to the days of the Governess and Private Tutor for a moment...

I am seeking: One child between the age of 3 and 5 (preK) who's parent(s) are:

a)Concerned that their child receive the best care, instruction and environment for development while they are at work (during the day).

b)Interested in one-on-one instruction for their child, in social, cultural and historical studies, spoken/written/read language (English and various foreign languages), music and the arts, math & science (biology, chemistry, physical, astronomy-space, etc), coordination and activity (sports), etc.. Instruction and direction given much in the way of Montessori, but with further concentration on the child's development, understanding and management of his life and the life around him.

c)Struggling with the cost of traditional daycare (would a no-cost, save food/gas, alternative be helpful), concerned about the quality of instruction, nurturing and social development available to their child in traditional daycare..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sound too good to be true? Don't believe someone with any credentials would offer something of this nature without charging a huge amount for it?
Let me explain a little bit about my situation. Recently, I left my full time career to manage and establish my husband's business. I have been 'home' for a couple months now and am daily pursuing contacts and opportunities for my husband. Progress has been steady, but I am finding I have 'free-time" due to the schedules of the other individuals I work with during the day.

My husband works full time outside the home during the day; at night and on weekends we both work in our studio. We are musicians, establishing ourselves and endeavoring the create our career in music; patience and tenacity are key. While my husband is away M-F (8-5), I spend my day researching, establishing contacts/networking, responding to correspondence, etc.. and as stated above, I've discovered quite a bit of time available to me (during the weekday) to focus on other interests.

For years I have studied early childhood education, different teaching methods, philosophies and courses of learning. I have always been fascinated with early childhood learning and have often thought of how I'd again enjoy working one-on-one with a small child if given the opportunity. (I was a full time nanny for a little boy a few years ago. I was with him from the time he was little over a year old to four years.)

Interested?
Want more details?

I understand how precious your child is to you and would therefore expect you to ask many questions of me, including my specific method (which involves detailed/daily reporting of activities, lessons and specific documented development of your child) , a request for references, background check, etc.. I am happy to provide you with as much information and detail as you wish, in effort to ease any concern you might have for your child's safety and well-being.

If you are interested, please reply immediately. I will be conducting interviews with parent(s) and child during the week of Nov 10-14. Not only will this interview give you a chance to meet and learn much more about me, but will also allow me to determine whether your child and I have the potential for a successful relationship.

Email me if you're interested
