Can anyone point me in the right direction to see if I can qualify for any type of childcare financial aid. My daughter is 16 mo and I do not collect any child support. Boy it's getting tough.......

I don't know about your state, but in mine if you know who the Dad is...you have to go for support before they will let you qualify for financial assistance. As well, most of them will tell you that you have to be going through the unemployment program to collect daycare assistance. My recommendation is to find out if any of the daycares in the area participate in other types of financial assistance/grant programs.

I think CA gives childcare assistance for people on the calworks program (welfare).
It might be worth a shot if you get a low-ish hourly pay.
