I'm a little upset with my current daycare but my girls have been going there since they were very young and many of their school friends also go there. My dilema is that the summer program involves trips and they are very expensive. They must rent a bus so they charge $15/child and this costs me $30 more a week. I already get subsidized childcare and pay a minimal amount but that's what i can afford and now this on top of it. I don't even think it would be allowed if the child care help agency found this out. I could deal with 1-2 trips all summer but it seems to be a weekly thing. Now to be clear, my children only go bi-weekly so it's not every week I pay this. They are with their father the other week and his wife doesn't work so they are home when with him.
Any experience out there with this?
Thanks,
kim
