HELLO TO ALL I'M NEW TO THIS SITE AND I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT NOT FIND CHILDCARE THAT I COULD AFFORD THAT I COULD NOT SLEEP AND WOULD BE DOWN TO A COUPLE OF DOLLARS TILL NEXT PAYDAY. SOMETIMES HAD TO SCROUNGE TO LOOK FOR MONEY FOR FORMULA FOR MY DAUGHTER. PLUS I WAS PAYING MY BABYSITTER 110 A WEEK PLUS RENT FORMULA ETC. I DONT QUALIFY FOR WIC. TODAY I HAD AN APPT WITH ACS AND I WAS PRAYING I WAS QUALIFIED. I'M NOW GOING TO BE PAYING 53 DOLLARS A MONTH!!INSTEAD OF 110 PLUS THIS PERSON WILL BE CERTIFIED!! SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. THEY DID ASK ME ABOUT THE FATHER AND HIS ADDRESS WHICH I DONT HAVE ETC. DONT KNOW WHAT THEY NEED THAT FOR . HOPE THEY DONT CONTACT HIM. ANYWAYS I'M HAPPY I'M GETTING SOME KINDA HELP FROM SOMEWHERE. JUST WANTED TO HELP ANYONE IN NYC KNOW ABOUT ACS OR ANYWHERE FOR THAT MATTER.

goldiebx, welcome to the site. Good to hear about this, childcare can get very expensive, often one of the hardest bills to deal with as a working single parent.

thanks gabriel's mom yea i am enjoying the same. it's good to know i'm not alone in what i'm going through. didn't ever think i'd be going through this alone. i used to watch maury pauvich all the time and feel sorry for those girls doing DNA shows now i'm in the same type of drama. i guess it gets a lil easier every day. i'm glad for this site.

Your welcome, and I know how you feel. I never thought I'd be a single mom, heck I never thought I'd be in this situation. I used to laugh about the girls on the maury show, but now I have learned to be a lot less judgemental and realize that we all have our problems and mistakes. It does get easier every day though.
