"Doing what I can"

Since Kai has been having less accidents lately, I have instructed the daycare that I am no longer bringin pullups because she takes advantage of them and I believe it sets her back. Now, I am only using them at home at night. I dont use them on the weekends as she never even takes a nap on the weekends.

The daycare uses them during naptime and is requesting that I continue to bring in pullups for her to wear during nap time. Well since I have instructed daycare not to make her take a nap this shouldn't be a problem.

So am I wrong saying that I dont want her in pullups anymore as I think they are just giving Kai the idea that sometimes its okay?

No...your child care is just being lazy if they can't hack it they need to find another profession. Having used a lot of daycares.....(oh too many) the ones that are the best despise pullups because they just don't help get the kid trained any faster.

Yeah, I think I'm sticking with Kai doesn't need pullups. I realize that with a lot of kids it would be hard to wash the naps mats everyday but it isn't helping Kai to get over her issues.

Yes, pullups send the opposite message to kids who are potty training and actually delay the process.

Plus, those suckers are expensive!!

If Kai is encouraged to try to go potty before she lies down for a nap (although I think you said she's not supposed to be napping?) then she should be fine.

Kai isn't suppose to be encouraged to take a nap and she's only suppose to be told to sit and relax. Anyway, yesterday when I picked Kai up she was not only napping but they had her in a pullup and when she got home and finally woke up, she wouldn't take it off!!!
