Paul , you may want to touch base on her with this as well as keep it in mind for yourself. Women/young ladies can experiance depression, high mood swings, become very emotional when the monthly hits. For some females this stuff is non existant, but if it does happen , it is ok ...it may not feel good but it tends to be apart of it.

Maybe get her in the habit of marking her monthly on a calender , this way she can determine how regular it is , and can prepare for it ahead of time.

Always ask her if shes good on supply of sanitary napkins w/e she uses.Nothing worse then forgetting you NEED those things, not having them , and then it shows up ...

Cramping, not all females experiance it , sometimes its mild , somtimes its intense, sometimes its not there at all.Alot of water and walking will do wonders for this, maybe have a hot water bottle on hand for her, just in case, so she can lay down and put it on her tummy if need be.

Time to stock up on tylenol , or Midol.Look on the net and see what mild painkillers there are for that purpose , you may not need them though.

I wish you all the luck , your such a good dad!!!And handling this so well. I wish I had someone so understanding when I was going through this all.

My 13 year old daughter got hers on her birthday, she has crazy grumpyness when her period comes Frowner Hope you don't need to go through that lol.

Oh, I'm sure this generation has their own favorite *** book that is even racier than the one we loved as pre-teens.

Paul you sound like such a good dady! I got mine at 12years old, it was me, my 3 brothers, and one sister whom i wasnt close with, and my dad. I was so embaressed, my dad didnt know what to do (my mom was around when my sister first got hers), my brothers found out, uhh it was a veryy upsetting time. I told my sister first, and of course the insensitive b*tch told everyone else.
Anyway enough babbling about my sad past, your daugther is so lucky to have a good dad like you (dont get me wrong my dad is AWESOME, jsut didnt push me opening up back then..which maybe he should of considerding both me and my sister had kids at 16yrs old) haha ok really enough about me..I just wanted to post a 'good job' message to you, because well as most people have said it is a very hard time for most, espicaly when you dont have a mother, so to have a very open dad, well it helps tons!!
