"this mommy runs on Starbucks coffee!"
No one can stop me now!!!!

I though that i would update everyone on the childcare issue. KinderCare has been fired! So grateful. I did hired the nanny that I interviewed a couple of weeks ago. So far the living aggreement is working out. Yesterday was her first day at our place. I got laurie's advise and bought a mini-rerig in her room. Erik changed the door knob to her bedroom so she could have a lock.

Today was they nanny first day. Kayley didn't give her any problems at all. No hitting or bitting, dropping her cup, etc. I'm working from home this week in case there problems with kayley and nanny. I explain that i was going to be in office and if she need anything to come in. Don't worry i showed her where everything of kayley's is kept and where extras are. Overall they had an easy day ... kayley so tired from the trip to boston and been a night owl with us, and can't sleep. Her schedule is off.

I know that getting her out of KinderCare was a must. I just hope ....I made a right decision to hire a nanny to watch kayley. I did explain to the nanny that i had a couple of concerns .... i want Kayley to be able to socialize with other kids and continuing to share etc. She seems to listens to all of the concerns and dressings them properly. Since Kayley spend most of the day asleep, she did research on playgroups in the here. we had a couple that we attend in Everett but we stopped going because other moms were too harass and didn't understand that i was single parent and i needed to work. We are going to give kayley a couple of weeks to adjust with the new childcare arrangement before we start potty training.

I did find Heathers post about potty training and using training pants. I'm not going to use pullups! Just training pants during the day and a diaper during naptime and bedtime. i don't think kayley is going to be difficult to potty training .... she hates being a wet diaper.

Sounds awsome Gen. Kayley is soooo lucky to have you as a mom. It's kinda neat how you can still be in touch with her growing stages right there at home.
