Hello, I am 18 and I just had my baby sept. 23 me and the father has not been together since i found out he took off then. well i have my baby so i called his house when she was 6 days old to tell him and to find out about child support and things like that. well come to find out he has took off to boston. and i live in deltona fl. it has got around that he took off because of the baby i talked to his mom which hates me and says i am ruining her sons life and told her to tell him to call me and now a week later i havent heard anything, i dont want child support from him i just want him to sign his rights over i dont want him to be able to come years down the road after not being there and try to get in her life hten and hurt her even more. does anyone know how i got about getting him to sign his rights over i have no idea...any advise would be great!!! thanks

Well Kristi i understand your situation a bit becuase I also was a teen mom I had my son Justin at 16. All i can say it's not easy, butI do recommend that you should think about not giving him a chance to be in the child's life.But he should have to take financial responsibility, That is his child and if he is sitll in Boston they will summons him to go to court, You have tried your best to give him a chance but if he refuses what else can you do. All the luck and one piece of advice go back to school.
