I'm new to the board sooo hello. I'm 20 and have a 8mth old little creepy crawly boy thats not supposed to be playing with those darn blinds..hold on... OK. Well I'm not with the dad becuase he is a drug user and use to metally and physically abuse me. I would talk about it but I'm kinda tired of being mad at him. TO MUCH ENERGY. I don't allow him into my life. He wanted to be there but for all the wrong reasons. I have a good job selling insurance and on my spare time DISCOVERY TOYS. It's good $$. I don't ask for child support and live with my mother so no major expences except health insurance which I pay for seperately. I don't like government programs but am getting fafsa for when I go back to school. I bf my son excusively and take him to work with me. I haven't had a baby sitter since he was born.OI HOLD ON TRASH CANS! Good luck to you all. It's do able to have a child young but I wouldn't recomend it. I'm very responsible and sometimes a little blunt about how people raise there kids. I was a drug user myself and I quit EVERYTHING even caffene drinks so I kinda have no pity and a little bit of a man hater.(ps not a lesbian) I'm still nice though if you can believe that but I've gone through a lot and when I see people making the same mistakes it makes me sad which in turn makes me mad. Well hello anyways looking forward to hearing from you.

Wow, sounds like you are doing well! I live in California too! Where are you located. I have a 16 mo old son and go to school right now full time. Thank god for school assitance because I started here being a non resident and it is EXPENISIVE! =) What school are you going to attend? Right now I am just going to Fullerton because of the whole non resident and I wasn't planning on moving out here so I didn't apply to any colleges in Cali so I kind of got stuck there. Oh well! yeah, i'm a young mother on my own by choice too. he was a drug user and although he never physically hit me, there was mental abuse. i don't want him around either. he's probably in jail again anyways. the only federal aid i'm on is WIC and i also filed a fafsa. this is a great network. i've made a few friends already. good luck with the creepy crawly mine's 16 mo old
