well I'm 13 years old and i think i might be pregnat. I just started taking the pill with ma last period but ... that peroid was really different then usual .. it was really light and im used to being heavy. I had sex like prolly about 4 times without ne pertection.. I'm soo confused .. I dunno what to do.. and if i keep taking the pill rite now can it harm the baby if i am pregnat? please help, thanx

If you are still having your period, you are more than likely not pregnant, but it is always best to go and see a doctor to make sure. The pill can really mess with your hormones and cycle even sometimes and some people are even perscribed the pill to lighten the flow of their period so it might just be your body adjusting to it. I would go see a doctor though if you question anything and if you don't want to see a physician where you have to tell your parents right away at least go to Planned Parenthood...we have that in the states but I don't know about Canada, or a clinic. There are lots of clinics around you just have to search a little. The BEST thing to do though is go and talk to your mom if you are worried. I know that sounds kind of scary and hard to do and crazy but the person that supported me the most through my prenancy was my mom believe it or not. Are parents are here for a reason and although it may seem at times they are around to make our lives suck even more and just be mean and cruel all the time, they can be amazing and really be there when we need them. No you can't harm the baby if you happen to be pregnant and still take the pill.
Chances are you are not pregnant if you had your perioding, even if its not as much as normal. The pill regulates you so that you have not as hard and long periods, or irregular with the hormones in it.
But just for your peice of mind, still go to get checked out. Talk to your mother, they are more understanding then you think.
Also, just so you know, birth control doesn't work 100% and yes you can still get pregnant. I got pregnant while on birth control pills, and had been takeing them for 5 years. so... just so you know.
Condoms do work wonderful on top of the birthcontrol!
you still have the rest of your life to look forward to and do so many things. If you get pregnant you will loose that. I am not saying dont have sex. Just be smart about. Sex is a wonderful thing, but it will be cut short most likely if you get pregnant.

WHen I became pregnant with my daughter I still had a period the first month, but it was light and didnt last as long as usual. do you have any other symptoms, like morning sickness or anything?

first things first you need to find out if your are for sure pregnant so you can start recieving your prenatal care and so you can either start making a decision or baby shopping (its expensive but oh so fun!!) trust me this is a very hard time but it does gets better if you need to talk email me at nannyskids_2000*yahoo.com
