Hi Brittany! Welcome. I'm a single mom of a handful of a 20 month old boy. I'm just wanting to know why you are trying to get pregnant at such a young age. You have so much life ahead of you, why shut that door so soon? Because having a baby means you don't get to have a life, a social one that is, basically, and I miss that so much. So I"m just wondering. Let me know.

hey brittany! don't worry, every one here does a pretty good job of not judging. but just to let you know (as i'm sure you've been told a million times) it is very hard. i got pregnant at 15 and am now 18. it's still hard. but if you're set on it, let both sets of parents know( yours and his) and start saving money and go to an obgyn to get checked out (in case you have any probs that could complicate the pregnancy). raising a child is very expensive and trying, but they're a gift from god. good luck!

Well I hope that everything works out for the best. I agree with Natasha, you should start saving and go to an OBGYN because you never know what could happen later on. Best of luck!

Smiler I'm not trying to offend anyone or anything.
But think about this really hard. Maybe you should wait until your older, maybe after you are out of high school.
Babies, and kids are alot of fun (especially when you can give them back to their parents) but think about how hard it is to stay up all night with a screaming baby, go to school the next day, go to work after school (babies cost ALOT) then going home to take care of the baby again, holding a baby in one arm, doing homework in the other, then going to school the next day with diapers in your bookbag and spit up in your hair.and so on and so on, it is never ending.
If you are serious about this, get checkups, start taking vitamins, get a job, prepare yourself.
Also youre not guaranteed just one child, but you might end up with 2 or 3.

Be sure to think about costs
Diapers: the cheapest is usually $12 per bag, and you'll need about 1-2 bags a day (at least at first)
Formula: $8 per can- my daughter used 1 a day
(of course you can always breast feed0
Outfits
Sleepers
T-shirts
Bathing suits
Dresses/suits
Car seat
baby bed
bibs
bottles
sippy cups
TOYS, LOTS AND LOTS OF TOYS
of course none of this adds up to what you recieve from a child, but still prepare yourself first that way you can give more to your baby.

Hey Brittany,
I just turned 15 December 2 2002 I got preganet in April it wasnt planed or anything but it just happened. Im now 15 weeks. The guy I got preganet by is 18 he used to tell me that if I got preganet he would always be there for me but when I actually did get preganet he told me that he didnt want nothing to do with me or the baby. He used to tell me that he wasnt like other guys but he lied. All guys are the same. I know how you fell when I was 13 I used to tell my friends that I wanted a baby. Cause my brother already had three kids and I loved them I love kids. But I never thought at 15 I would be having one of my own. My due date was January 14 but they changed it to January 19 by then I will already be 16. I know I wont regret my baby but I will regret having it at a young age but I will love my baby the same as if I would have waited till I was 20 something. If you wanna talk to me email at soon_to_be_teen_mommy_16*yahoo.com I would like to talk to you!!!
