I wasn't saying that to say that it's OK to go out and keep having kids. I'm saying that there are other, less permanent ways, of preventing pregnancy. The decision to have a tubal is personal, and I don't think that I was ready. You are right, as you get older, the chances of birth defects increases, but someone as young as 21 (I was at the time) should think more about it than that. I agree with you, Inni, that kids need time, attention, and love, and that they require a great deal of resources. But... I think that until one is older, alternate forms of birth control should be used until the couple, together, decides that they are finished having children and both are 110% comfortable with that decision.

Adrianne .. very true. Twenty one is very young to have that procedure! Your ex should have gotten snipped lol .. they say it's a lot easier to reverse it on the man.

Forgive me, if I came across too strong.

Hugssss

So, you know how I said the other night that I was feeling much better? Well, that was a total fluke. I feel like crap today. I had to leave work at 11 because I couldn't stop puking. I didn't want to leave but my boss basically forced me to, and he didn't want me driving home by myself so he picked me up, carried me to his car and put me in and of course he drove me home. So now I have no car here and no way to pick up the girls at camp at four. It was quite the fun day. I'm feeling a little bit better now, but I have no clue what got into me. I'm thinking that this dosen't have anything to do with my pregnancy and it's just a stomach bug, I hope thats the case anyway. Phoebe had that 24 hour stomach thing on tuesday and wednesday, so I probably caught it from her. Well, I'm going to go rest for a while, and I have to call Chris an see if he can pick up the girls. Have a good day everyone.

Well, Holly, I hope you are feeling better soon. Kinda wish it was the bug so it goes away faster, but just being sick from being pregnant is not as hard on the baby, I'm thinking. Big hugs for ya, and I hope that Phoebe is feeling better as well. What a boss you have to be so concerned for you and doing what is best for you!! Your blessings keep amazing me.

Inni, you didn't come across too strong. I've been feeling a bit testy today. Lack of sleep will do that, ya know? No harm done Smiler

It's 1:00 am again and of course I can't sleep. I slept too much today. I needed it. Chris picked the girls up from camp... I was asleep when they got back and he fed them and got them into bed for me, I didn't wake up until 10. I haven't been able to get back to sleep since. I'm feeling a little better though, my stomach is still upset, but I haven't puked since 10, I don't think there is anything left to come back up. I haven't eaten since 8:00 this morning, I'm kind of afraid to...

This is a total change of topic, but whatever, my mind is racing...

I am so lucky to have Chris... He loves me and he loves my girls like they were his own. I am so greatfull to have him, I don't think I tell him that enough. What he did for me today shows what kind of father he is, he dropped everything to get the girls, because in his eyes they come first. I love him!

Well I'm tired abd now I'm pretty much rambling... I'm going to try to sleep some more, it feels good to catch up on it a bit, even though it sucks that I had to get the stomach flu to get some rest, but I guess thats what it takes for a mother of three four year olds to slow down... Thank god tomorowis my day off!!!

Hey there Holly, feeling any better? The stomach flu is the worst. I had never had it until Braeden was about 3 weeks old and brought it home from Chuckie Cheese (his sister's 4th b-day party). It's like being the living dead.

Yes, I agree it is very hard to slow down when you have to be Mommy, and pregnant too! I think my son knew that when he got me 4.5 months of bedrest while carrying him.

Any more luck on properties? I had to ask because it seems like the summer is flying by for me and I'm sure you as well.

Man, it's only 8:15 and I'm already beat, and after only 7 hours of being up. LOL. I've only had my 2 year old since Friday and I'm used to his sister keeping him busy for me. THANK GOD for the WIGGLES!

I was just wondering how you can get assistance for childcare? My son is on Medicaid and we get WIC but I am in school and can't work very much but I need childcare for while I'm in school or I will have to quit. My parents both work and Luke's father is worthless.
I just wanted to say how I admire you for raising triplets at 13. I have enough trouble raising one at 18, well just turned 19.
Good luck,
Jen

I dont know what town you live in or what state, but some towns get grants every year that pay for free oil, rent subsidys, and daycare for about $20 a week!so check out what your town has to offer in way of sharing child care cost or grants.
I wouldent expect anything in the way of advise from our thread starter, she,s never been on welfare or knows of the wic program, dady pays for everything, however she did just change from a cadi escalade suv to a lowly Tahoe and got some money back on the down trade, unfortunatlly it just took her status down not her gas bill, they have the same size engine!oh well she,s really trying, her hearts in the right place.

For those of you thats thinking of new or used transportation I would recomend a dodge carravan they are really kid safe and friendly lots of room low maintainance and abour 26 MPG! so say 100 miles a week at $4 a gal thats aprox $16.00 in gas

Tahoe, escalade, suberban, 8 MPG 100 miles a week $4.00 per gal thats $48.00 in gas. 100 miles a week is really nothing lets say 200 miles a week!

With a tahoe Thats $96.00 a week or $384 a month.
with a carravan $ 32 a week or $ 128.00 a month
with the carravan thats a $256.00 savings a
month over a tahoe! or $3,072 a year, so every five years $15,360 you could buy a new carravan on the gas savings and keep the good money you get from the old one with only 50.000 miles on it!

You should be able to file for daycare assistance wherever you would file for foodstamps or medicaid, that or they can tell you where.

It is being thought, because that's the way the posts are wrote and are being read. I personally would include sarcasm to the list. I think that if you really want to help you could tone some of that down and stick more to the facts at hand, such as how to get help through social services for those that are asking for example. Keeping the sarcasm/hostility out of your responses will lend more to the credibility of your advice.

Jealousy breeds anger, not happiness or success. Spend a moment feeling happy and thankful for somebody else and you would be surprised how a change in attitude can bring more happiness and success to your own life.
