Hello all... I'm Noelle... I have a four year old son who is always acting out. I wondered if it was part of his age or if he needs to be with me more, I don't know what to do about it. I can't be around all the time becuase I'm going to school and working... I don't know what to do for him...

Hello Noelle,
welcome first of all !

can you give us a bit more details ?
what do you mean exactly by 'acting out' ?

My son is 4 as well, and he has a way of always refusing what I say or propose, but usually he comes around...or sometimes I do as well Wink
In fact 'NO' is his favorite answer. He constantly tries his limits, and it's exhausting, but then again, I suppose that's normal and a good thing, or he wouldn't progress (and me neither ;-) ).

Can you give an example ?

Hi Nollie and welcome to SFV Smiler I have a four old daughter and let me tell you I am ready to pull my hair out every day!! I also have 2 teenage daughters and they did grow out of that phase (now they are in the TEEN phase....god help me). However, it really depends on to what extent he is "acting out" before you should worry too much.
