I am New to SFV |
I'm 19 and I am 14 weeks along with my first baby. I found out when I was in my 4th week. I told the father of my baby that I am pregnant. He talked to me for a minute and then hung up on me. He called back a couple days after that. He doesn't want to help me at all, but his sister that I used to be friends with feels that it's her right to see my baby. Before I stopped talking to her completely, she kept saying things to me about how she was going to get my baby every weekend. I would NOT feel comfortable with that considering the fact that she's addicted to drugs and such. I'm just wondering, does his sister have the right to see my baby?

"Parent on Board" Forum Board? No- KeyBoard! |
I have heard of grand parents rights, never heard of aunt's rights, sound like she is a bit wakked out. As to the father, the court system will make him support his child, weather he likes the idea or not.
Never take someone for granted. Hold every person close to your heart because you might wake up one day and realize that you've lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones... |

Parent on Board |
sounds like a lot of stress for you to handle at 14 weeks - how are you holding up?
Love all, trust a few, do harm to none. |

Getting My Feet (Board) Wet |
Yes grand parents do have rights to see their grand kids. But as far as anyone else besides the father you don't have to let anybody that you feel is unfit to be around your child if you dont want to be.
