Hello. As I have said before I am taking a parenting class wiht my highschool. I now muct make another presentation on Teen pregnancy. Except this time I want our voices to be heard. We've all heard statistics and about the struggles. But I want a little more "out of our mouthes". Can you all tell me what you'd liek em to say "on your behalf". I won't give any personal information, I would jsut like to knwo what you would say to this class of teens who may or may not be thinking about it. What are your thoughts? What's harder? What do you like about parenting? Etc, ect etc.

PLEASE answer...I dunno if you understnad what I am asking, but okay.

As a mother I love being a parent. Anything negative is cancelled out with your child. But being a teen mother... no! If I wouldn't have been stupid I would have been out on my own getting my degree, not stressing about what is going to happen to my child as a result of not having a real father around.
my ex had a kid already. I realized after a year, I would rathe not raise a child right now (i love that kid still don't get me wrong). I wanted to hang out with friends, stay out late, past 8pm (bed time for the kid), have no worries. Being a teen mom now, youcan't do that. Getting a cup of coffee is hard to do. Going out on dates, not that simple. you have to think of the pros and cons of how that is going to affect your child. Getting your degree from college takes longer. You have to work and support your child. ahhh, the great figure you have, it'll take a while to get back in shape. your friends don't hang out with you as much, because you have a kid, it limits you.
For teen fathers, its all the same. Most likely you get your pay garnished for child support. You cannot be care free and do whatever you ant you child is your responsibilty. Mainly really think about all the consequences that occur if you have a kid. Sex isn't all what its cracked up to be.
