How do you tell the children that your getting divorced?

How do you tell them that your seeing someone?

Or maybe we should just let them figure things out when we move in with our lover or after we remarry?

My "ex" comes from a small family. The only surviving members are her mother (late 40's), grandmother (80's), and various out-of-state cousins from her fathers side. She recently re-married and is introducing the in-laws as his grandma, aunt, cousins, etc.. It's confusing for me because I don't know who my son (age 3) is referring to when he speaks of them.

I can't say I blame my "ex" for trying to share her exciting new family situation with our son, but she's deluting the concept of relatives and blood relatives. I'm worried that the special bond he has with his blood relatives won't mean as much down the road. She say it's no big deal. Who's right?

I understand my Ex's Mother has married four times and each of these men she has my children call them Gandpa.

They are so confused about it the my middle child asked me questions I did not have answer for so I told him to ask her.
apparently did ask her and she told him she didn't want to talk about it.

He came back mad to me asking why shes so mean. He told me that he just wanted to now what happened to Grandpa Bill (number three)
and she snapped at my son.

I myself am really at a lost at what most of the other side does... I just try to do damage control here.

I only pray, its the only thing I can control...
