My daughter just started to cut her eye teeth and they sure are bothering her. Her other five teeth I didn't even notice coming through, but these ones are sure painful. Her nose is runny, cheeks red and the usual crankiness. I am just wondering if anyone has any advice on a pain reliever. Last night was a rough one and I felt so hopeless. I wish I could take that pain away. Any how any insite would help. Thanks Frowner

Hello and welcome to our forum. Try baby tylenol for the pain. Also you might want to try putting baby orajel on his or her gums this is a teething pain medicine. Last but not the least try putting the teething rings in the freezer let them get cold and let them chew on that. Hope you can find some relief in these remedies.

My mom has an ice crushing machine and she always crushed ice cubes for my girls. They loved it. It's an idea.

I always gave my girls infant tylenol, something to chew on, or a wet washcloth. Oh and I put that teething gel on to. I know they didn't like the taste but I think it helped for a lil while.

Thanks guys, I have been dealing with this pretty well I guess. I am just hoping that she will be okay by sun, as she is being christened. And if she is not, well I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles. I don't mind all the other things that go with teething, I just am having a hard time with the no sleep. Normally I wouldn't mind but I have recently gone back to work and well we all know how fun that is on no sleep. But I guess our mothers and a lot of you got through it and so will I. Thanks again for the advice. Oh and yea THANK GOD FOR TYLENOL!!!!!!! HA HA HA HA Roll Eyes

Hi Jayme, I tried some herbal teething granules with the kids when they were teething. They were excellent and started working within 5 minutes. The best thing about them is they are completely natural products. If you can find some at a Health food outlet give them a try out.

Lots of hugs for you and Mya.
