My son is only 11 months he'll be 1 in about 2 weeks. I know that he isn't quite ready to be trained. I'm not trying to rush things. I need advice on what I can do since his dad isn't there? Help anyone pls.

The mothers I've talked to started at 2 yrs and most got finished after 2 1/2 years. I never heard any talk about fathers helping or hindering potty training. Parents mag says that you should teach them to pee sitting down and not standing up. Does your son's have uncles or grandpa's. Maybe a guy friend that's close to him? You don't need a specific man just a man. Even then I don't think it's nessesary. That's a goooood question though.
