Hi, I live in Minneapolis and I'm starting a new company that helps people raise funds to hire a lawyer for divorce and custody proceedings. I thought this forum may be a perfect place to reach out. Would you know anyone that needs help but cannot afford it? I think more people need help, especially women. Lawyers are so expensive today that I'm sure many people would like to help out.

jrico, welcome to the forum. Being that you're new here I'd actually like to hear a little more about what it is you do, which company this is you started, some credentials so to speak. We like to be sure that people don't just pop in here to to be a "predator" and I hope you understand that. For the time being I removed your phone number, email from your message. Waiting to hear more.....
Also, if it all checks out there is a section here on this network that would be a better place to advertise and be seen.

Hello Don. Thank you for the proper welcome. The name of my company is My Free Lawyer, LLC. which is registered with the MN Sec. of State under number 2768908-3. I have some experience working as a Spanish interpreter for a few law offices in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and I've found that many people cannot afford a lawyer. Even with deeply discounted rates, many prospective clients couldn't afford the lawyer for their case. I thought about it a while and realized I could help people raise the funds, and use my contacts with local attorneys to find the best value for each dollar. If there is a better section to display my post, that would be great, and I'd appreciate a direction to that section. If you need more information, please feel free to contact me at jrico01@aol.com
