Hi everyone. I am trying to find single parents in VA so that maybe we can get together occasionally for support and to spend time with others that "get" what life is like for us. Anyone interested?

Sure I would be interested! I live in Newport News not too far from Richmond. I went to the state fair this year for the first time, it was soo big!!

I would love to meet up with ya'll. But I live in Springfield, about an hour and half from Richmond. Not too long a drive, but too long for my 5 week old daughter. Hopefully when she is a little older a group of us could meet. I wouldn't mind the drive, its nice to travel sometimes.

I live in Virginia and would be interested.

I live near Warrenton. Richmond is kind of far for me.

I live in Roanoke. I dont think anyone is really close to me, but i like to take "little" road trip with my kids.(I cant go too far with a 3 year old and a 7 1/2 month old though).

We could plan some kind of meetup when the weather is a little bit nicer in a neutrul area.
And if there is a few of us it would be better for saftey reasons.

I'm brand new here and in Richmond. I love a good road trip, so a little travel for a get together wouldn't be a problem.

hi Everyone ! well i will be locating to Virgina June 1st ! So nervous to move ! I am looking for a place to move into! my parents just sold their house and now we have to be out by May 9th ! ! I would appreciate it if someone could give me a couple of tips of where to look to move or not move ! My parents will be in Oyster Vriginia and I wanted to stay kind of close . . . . Thanks

Hi Amanda, Where's Oyster VA? Is that in Northern VA or way off into the boonies... I like Udrone live in Herndon... I just moved here about 2 months ago and so far it's been great... Of course, once I moved it made my commute to work about 10 min and my kids daycare is right across the street from where I work, so what could be better then that
