I lived in Las Vegas for 5 years before moving to Ohio to be near family. I loved it, especially the mountains. Have you looked into Mommy and Me? I am not sure if they have specific groups for single parents, but if not, you could start one. They have a website, take a look. Also, I don't know if you are affiliated with a church there, but I would highly recommend Canyon Ridge Christian Church. They offer a single parent ministry and have a wonderful women's ministry. Our weather here has just turned nippy, but I know that you will be enjoying that wonderful Las Vegas weather for months to come! Blessings, Sam

Hello, I am a reporter for the New York Times, working on an article about women in Las Vegas, including mothers. Would you be willing to talk to me about your experiences in an interview? I will be in Las Vegas on and off over the next month or so. You can reach me on email at kershaw*nytimes.*** or by telephone at 206-992-6862. I look forward to the chance to speak with you. Best, Sarah Kershaw
