I live in metro Atlanta. I am on the verge of "singleness" and I am attempting to find all the resourse available to me. Can anyone direct me to some local places to go to or call for advice on this subject? Thanks

I work during the week but would love to get together on a Saturday (the ex usually has them on Sunday). If the weather is nice we could meet at a park.

Sounds good. I'd love to meet some other Atlanta single moms. Where in Atlanta is everyone at? Is there a convenient place/time we could all meet?

I live in Augusta, 2 hours from Atlanta, but I have heard that Northwood Community Church and First Baptist of Atlanta both have fun, active singles groups as well as support groups. I haven't been to them personally, but I have spoken with people who speak very highly of both places. It will give you fun stuff to do with other people in similar situations as well as activities which will include your kids. Good luck!!!
