No one has posted from MN for awhile so I'm bringing the 2nd MN chat to the top of the lists again tonight!
24 year old single mom of a 3 year old little girl, about 15 minutes north of minneapolis.

Does anyone suffer from what I do? Single parent� Go to work at full time job come home and work 8 more hours??? And the cycle keeps on going and going!! It seams like all I do is work, I�m not trying to be a wine-r but the work never ends.
I have no time for friends or myself! Every once in awhile I�ll go and have a few beers with my mom to hash things out and get advice? That�s the most exciting thing I ever get to do. The kids (11 & 9) eat up all of my time; don�t get me wrong, I love them! But when will MY life ever matter? All I really need is someone to talk to other than my mom? (God bless her however)! Any body relate to this?

meam_mom, I relate as I'm sure many of the parents on this site do. I don't even have family around and with the summer here and all the summer activities going on, I feel it even more. I want to get out and enjoy life, but I know my first priority is raising my kids and keeping them out of trouble. I just tell myself that when they are on their own, I will be able to live MY life. I hope my patience will pay off. By the way, my kids are 14 and 15. Here's to hoping we can hang in there!
