Hey all, new member...been living in Hickory, NC for about 8 months. Desperate to find some single parents for support, friendship, etc. Anyone in or around this area??

I am in NC, but down in the triangle area. I live in Chapel Hill. Its nice to have another NCer on line.

Hey all! I'm from Winnipeg, Canada. I'm doing N/C and have been for almost 4 months. I was doing good until my aunt told me she seen him w/ a girl. She never went into details but she basically said he wanted to go visit her and my aunt never got the impression that this was his new girl??? I think otherwise. We have 2 kids and he hasn't even contacted us in the whole 4 months. Maybe it's best this way. We're both in our 30's.

We have a single parent group and web site in Charlotte, NC - located at: http://thesingleparentfamily.org - we also have a local online community. I know Hickory is up the road a bit but please consider joining our online community. I hope that we'll expand and more parents from surrounding areas will be a part of our network.

Hi all, I feel like I just have to jump in! I know, I know, I live in VA now. But I'm from SC (Rock Hill, right below Chlt). So I go through NC a LOT to visit my fam. I think you guys should do maybe a quarterly get-together.

Hey Adrianne my sister used to be in Rock Hill. She is in Sumpter now. My other sister lives in Charlotte. I think Charlottoe is a great place to get together if anyone wants to.

I would love to have a get together in Charlotte! That would be so fun. It would be great to meet other single parents, and great for my little boy to have other children to play with!
