My chuch wants to bring single moms together with daycare and teen activities for a couple hours on Wednesday evenings and we are looking for ideas in what kinds of things we can offer during this time. Do you have any ideas or thoughts for us? Your help is appreciated.

Hi. I'm new here, but was thinking of bringing this idea up at my church as well. I think you need to first decide the purpose of the weekly meeting. Is it to get to know other single parents, vent, pray for each other, arrange other activities outside the Wednesday night meeting, have a bible study, have good coffee...... and then as far as the kids. A bible study in regards to their situations, a time for them to pray and vent, and play games. Through fellowship other things will come, at least that is what I am hoping. A support network. Babysitting network. Fellowship network.
