I'm the mom of 3 lil guys and was just wondering if anyone is from S.C. on here. I've no clue how to meet people anymore. I stay at home and take care of the gang! Don't really know where to go to meet "kid-friendly" people. Hope to talk to ya soon! Smiler

Hi! I'm new here. I'm a soon-to-be single mom (going through a divorce) of a 3-year-old boy. I'll be moving to SC in less than 2 weeks. I'm going to Florence, though. Frowner I'll be moving to Rock Hill in about a year (hopefully). I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Hey Everybody..Its great to see a response from people around SC. Thats funny that many of you are from Rock Hill. I just moved from Rock Hill back to my hometown of Anderson. I am a single mom of two and now have another baby on the way(due Aug 8th). If for some reason I cannot meet you guys in Rock Hill still would love to keep in touch with you guys through here or our own emails. Email me back and tell me about each of you. Have a great day.

Amanda

Tinkerbell,
I amm going to be working in Charlotte, on Palmer Plaza Blvd. Didn't you say you just got a job at gymboree? Isn't that a gymnastics place (forgive me, I'm an airhead today)? I want to put my 4 yo daughter in gymnastics and maybe dance, and I'm looking for a good place to take her, but it'll probably be in RH.

I do work at Gymboree...its not a gymnastics place per se...but rather a class of music and play, imagination, singing, parachute time, etc. Its a great class-but not gymnastics. Frowner

I don't know where Palmer Plaza Blvd is...where in Charlotte is that located? Maybe someday we could meet up and do lunch or something. Let me know!!

My sister lives in the mucky muck area by Queens Blvd, Rd, Street whatever it is. Close to Freedom (Lake?) Park. Great place to take the kids if you ever get around to it. My kids loved feeding the ducks. They kept putting the bread on their bakcs so they had to work to get it!

Anyway, I could be down there anytime. Ya'll name the day and the time! I would love to meet you two/three and if we could ever find Larry again 4.

Oh I talk to Larry fairly regularly actually! I spoke with him a few weeks ago! I have his number and we could definitely plan a get together!

Lets really plan something. We keep mentioning it. Any days/times work better? Sat and Sundays are best for me obviously-and there's so many places to go in Charlotte...

Tell Larry that Schoolmommy (whose name now fits her so much better) misses him!

We definitely need to plan a day/time. Saturdays and Sundays work for me. I just need to be able to have enough notice to put it on my calendar (and clear it with my sister, where I will be staying). There are so many places to go I just prefer a place that I don't have to run after Jada the entire time LOL

Oooh, this is getting exciting!! I can't wait to get together. Tinkerbell, the time frame you mentioned is great for me, and weekends are best for me as well. Palmer Plaza Blvd is off of Independence ( mapquest said to take 77 to 277 and get off at Independence and Palmer Plaza isn't far). I hope I can find it! I'm sure we can all do a little research and find a great place to meet and take the kiddies!

Lol! I'm kinda the same way. I have blone highlights and I told my co-workers that I have to have a reason for my "sunny disposition" (that's what I like to call it). They just laugh. They tell me I don't have "blonde moments", I have "a blonde life"...
