Well my son will be 2 on Nov 23rd....Ok so it's a little ways off but I like to plan in advance. Plus it's around holidays so I would like to get all of the birthday stuff out of the way before I have to deal with Thanksgiving, Christmas and my nephew's first birthday (he was born on Christmas). Anyway, I'm looking for any ideas. I'm not quite sure what he really needs for his gifts and stuff, so I'm having a hard time doing that. Also, any suggestions what we should do to make it fun. Any help would be great! Thanks!
Melissa

My daughter is going to be 2 the 18th of October so I have been pondering the same dilima. Last year I had a huge party and lots of folks and food and games. This year I was wondering what I should do. Well I am going to do a cake and ice cream party. Decorate the place with ballons and steamers (either barney or something else she digs) and invite all the folks that came last year. She love shinning with attetion. Most of the folks just mingel anyways so just cake and Ice cream this year. Let her shine and get gifts. Next year will be bigger that is when they have "all the best friends" I think everyother person at that age is ther new best friend for the day..... Good luck with your b-day. Sometimes the simple things are the most rememberable. I hope I help. E-mail me sometime and let me know.... Bye Amanda

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking at inviting the same people but not expecting all of them to show up. My son doesn't know anyone his age... =( Hopefully he will by next year though. I hope all goes well with your daughters b-day party! Good luck!

So its coming down to the final days befor my kiddos birthday! Yikes! At least his father is coming in to celebrate. Any ideas for gifts? When I'm asked what to get him I have no idea what to say. This boy does not need any more toys and he has enough clothes to last him for two winters if he didn't grow. =) What do you think?

Ian's is in 8 weeks, and we'll probably have 3 or 4 kids about his age.
