Hi everyone! My name is Tracy and I am pregnant with my first child. I am almost 19 weeks. the father left about 1 month ago with no sign of returning to be any part of this child's life.

What are some things that you all do to relax, destress and not feel alone?

Hey Tracy! My name is Nicole and I'm new to the board too, but I wish I'd found it when I was pg! My ex left when I was 11 wks pregnant, and now my son is 6.5 months old. To help myself destress, I took a lot of long baths, long walks, listened to a lot of music, basically just pampered myself. It is the last chance you will have to do those things for a long time, so enjoy it now! Also, I had a lot of lunches with my girlfriends, their support really helped me get through those hard days. Good luck!!!

Hey Tracy! I was in the same situation, he left me at 3 months pg. Basically the only thing that kept myself going was my unborn son. The anticipation was thrilling and those ultrasound/kicks/hiccups, etc... kept me going! It is hard, I feel ya! But stay strong for your childs sake/health! My little boy is now a little over 3 months old and I certainly went after his father for childs support, so you may want to look into that as well through the DA's office. Even if he has ran, they will find him!!!!! Do it for your child, you'll need the money for things.
