Hi, I,m 21 and a mom of a growing baby girl thats only 11 months old. I have found it very lonly latly with having no friends left around me to confid in or talk to. I just moved away from all my friends and family so that my daughter could be around her father but i don't know if i have made the right choice. Cause now i am alone. I am not working so i have meet no one there either. I am hopeing to find support here. or just some one to talk to.

i think mark is correct. there are alot of people who supported me and some of them gave me alot of advice. i know the feeling alone, even though my friends and family live in my same city. for me the hard par is opening up to new people. so, i will and i am positive there are alot other people who will talk to you.

I know how you feel. I also do not have a lot of friends to talk to right now. It's seems so much harder to keep friends when you are a single parent.
I just got in a big fight with my best friend because she basically said my son was a spoiled brat. And a couple of my friends from work are angry with me for some unknown reason also. There's always so much drama involved with my friendships. I wish I could just meet some nice normal people to hang out with.

Hi I'm new here also and was wanting some people to chat with I don't have many friends either, I'm 21 and have a 4 year old daughter with one on the way.

I moved to an entirely new state, TN from California in June, and I don't know anyone here either! I've been talking to some other single parents...they are dads, but I'm not sure if I should meet them because we've been talking through e-mail. Its hard making new friends in new place. I was pregnant when I moved here so its not like I could go out to bars to meet people, and I couldn't get a job because no one would hire a woman that was so close to her due date! I've had my son, almost a month ago now and I still don't know anyone and I know I wouldn't have much of a social life being a single mom anyways, but it would still be nice to go out and meet a friend for coffee or to go shopping. So I know how you feel, its hard and it sucks! The father of my son is in CA but I moved here b/c he's gone all the time due to his job and my parents are here. I'll be going back to CA in August or shortly after, so I'll be back with my friends, but right now, its really depressing to be alone. So in a way, you and I aren't alone, we're alone together!

i'm 24 with 2 boys and a baby on the way, i'm currently in the middle of a long and drawn out divorce, the baby that i'm carrying is by someone who i considered a friend and now that i really need him is being very cold. i withdrew from my other friends when me and my husband separated so now i'm truly alone
