I was just wondering what other people have done to make their kids birthdays extra special.
My kids will be 4 the last day of Febuary... and it really is an extra special one for them because theyre birthday is the dreaded leap day. We usauly celebrate on the 28th but I've never done anything special...had some family over..dinner thats it.. But since they get 'their day' this year..i want to do something, they arent really into the same things, Haylie is a very girly girl and Luke is very much a mans man.. I dont want to do the typical 'Dora' theme lol..theyre into typical 4 year old stuff, Im not a very good party planner, lol Im nto very creative so I was just wondering if anyone had any cool ideas! (its a friday, so i want to do something actualy on the day...so it'l prob be in the evening)
So if anyone can think of anything I'd appricate it!
Thanks!

How about getting a magician? My dad does birthday parties for kids all the time, he doesn't charge but usually the people give him a gift certificate for a dinner or something. You can probably find someone pretty reasonable that does kids magic. If you did a medieval theme your daughter and her friends could be princesses and your son and his friends could be knights...
