I'm about to move to virginia..to norfolk virginia I'd be willing to move to the DC maryland area or even NC (near the beach I have to be close to where my oldest daughter is) and I DESPERATELY need a roommate. I walked out on a lease a month before it was due b/c I was pregnant and lost my car and yeah well it's a long story but I couldn't pay my bills. It's a few years later and I'm starting my life over and I can't get a lease in my name even though I have a good reference from my latest aparment. I have a 2 year old and I seriously need a roommate for when I move...so if anyone can help please lemme know...

hello, I am a single paret with 2 kids and i am moving to tampa florida to attend college and I am trying to find a roomate or a room for rent to help get us started. I am planning to move the first week of april and would gladly appreciate any assistance.(I have a cat and dog as well) (very friendly pets). Thanks

You might want to look into renting a privatly owned apt in that area. I had the same problem when i moved to Norfolk...nobody will rent with something bad on your rental history. But many private owners will not check.

WOW...I've never been on this sight before which is scary because I am currently making the move to chesapeak, va and was going to stay with some family while i try to get on my feet. by the way i am Lynnea, i am a 20 yr old single mom of a 2 yr. old boy and just found out i am 4 wks. pregnant again. i would love to talk to you more. hope to hear from ya.

I live in chesapeake, Va and have my whole life. I don't have a room but if you need help with a job or babysitting or anything like that Id be happy to help.(Chesapeake is right next to norfolk and va beach)
