Hi I am a 20 year old mother with a 2 year old daughter and currently 6 months pregnant with my second child. All of the people I thought were my friends don't have anything to do with me and I really don't have any one to talk to. I need someone who can relate with what I am going through. I hope to find that here!!

I'm 24 with two of my own. Everyone I met or knew before I had kids...have left my life since, except for my family. I totally understand what you are feeling. It's not fun. The best thing to do is remember that you aren't the one with the problem. Next, you've come to the right place!

I'm 21 and have a 1 1/2 year old son. I know exactly what you mean about old friends dissapearing I guess that's a part of life though. People change and I know how hard it can be. Have you ever tried going to some sort of drop in center (free gonvernment play center..I assume they offer these in the US as well) ? I found they were a good way to get together with other moms..although I'm still having a hard time making other single parent FRIENDS. I've met some great people along the journey so far and hope to meet more. Good luck and congradulations on the pregnancy.

I'm 25 with a 5 year old boy, lots of my friends dissapeared too and its only recently that i've met up with some and they tell me how bad they feel that they weren't there for me. I bear no grudge they were young and travelling the world but are making up for it now in leaps and bounds. Besides i have a wonderful family and you have just gained a whole new family by logging on here!
