hello,i'm pretty new to this site and so far i love what it has to offer.anyway i'm expecting another child on top of the two i already have ages 5 going on 6 in aug.the other,1 going on 2 in may. i never in a million years thought i would be having three kids...i guess that's why it's so hard to absorb it all,i also thought i'd be married and not single with three kids,i guess what i'm trying to say is i'm really looking for a support system,i don't have much family and the little bit i have is far away and don't visit, people don't realize how important it is to hold on to what family you have, and if they are in the kids life and willing to offer a hand at times that is a blessing in it self.i know if my mom was still alive i would have that support system.i would love to get a brake from my kids sometimes.single parents need family and or friends to help raise these kids, you don't know how important it is to have family until you have none.... Red Face :thanks: for listening :lovesfv:

Hi Kim!
I know exactly how you feel! I had two kids, a husband that had totaly taken off and was pregnant with my third. I was terrified, but I assure you it does get better. My kids and I are in our routine and it's hard, and exhausting but so rewarding. This is the best place to go to find support I find myself here after the kids go to bed when it's the loneliest for me and this place always cheers me up!

Hello and WELCOME TO SFV! We may not be able to jump in the car and babysit ur babies but we r here not matter what time of the day or night to help support u. Know what I'm twenty eight yrs old and I just had my second baby in dec. I raised my nine yr old on my own and thought I would be so different w/my second and have a great man by my side and be married. Guess what I have to loser daddies in and out of my kids lives and rasing them both on my own. Its a tuff knock to take but I'm there too.

As for not having a ton of family there I mainly my mom and stepdad. I know I'm luck to have that but u know what its amazing how great friends and reach and be that family too. I have some good friends that r there for me as well. Look to ur friends if ur able too. We r here as friends and support too. I know i've reached out here SO MANY times and found what I needed here. So vent cry laught whatever we're here 4 ya.

I noticed that ur title said worried about the future. I worry everyday how I'm going to do this on my own w/two kids. Know what I take it a day at a time b/c that is the only way a single parent can take it. I gave up a long time ago worrying whether I'll be ok six months from now....I worry about six minutes from now and what new crisie my nine yr old comes up w/or how poppy my daughter's diaper will be. LOL It makes life easier to deal w/now.

Ok enough of my yapping. Please PM me if u need someone to chat w/I'm always here. Good luck on ur new baby. Do u know what it is going to be and when it is it due? U'll have to excuse me I'm jsut in a pretty good mood tonight and want everyone to feel happy and smile.
