Thanks for all of your replies. I am glad that I can find support here. Some of the people at my church think I am making such a wrong choice and that my family can work through this and that my soon to be exhusband will change. I think is why I didn't leave in the past. I have always tried to minimize it, "It's just an anger problem" people would tell me and I would believe it. But now I know that I have the support that I need to get through this. He only wants to see Emmanuel once a week for 2 hrs. He doesn't want to see the children very often as he stated, they are much better with me, and he couldn't do the things that he wants to do ( go out to eat all the time, watch tv shows--basically be a bachelor). I am not saying that to be mean about him, this is just what he told me straight up. It's amazing all the lies I told myself while we were married. I always tried to "be better", so that he could "get better". His mom told me that I should make nice dinners for him to make him feel loved. I see now that even though it will be hard, I can do this. I can make it. I have two beautiful boys who are amazing. And even though I am not perfect , I am worth it.
We are living in our apartment right now, and I think he is staying somewhere and then moving elsewhere. I am trying to get into subsidized housing as our rent will go up soon and it's already 715, it might go up to almost 800 this year! Yikes..... anyway, just hope things go well. I really do appreciate everyone's help.
God Bless.

Support is what it's all about here. Glad to have you.

By the way... is he paying any kind of support to you or the children while the divorce is taking place? If not, that may be an option for some added financial support for you and the children.

Hi there! Yes he pays the car payment for his van that we split part time, and the credit card payment that we have. He is quitting that soon and taking his van. I am going to get a smaller car that's more cost effective. It's really hard as right now I have about 2 dollars to my name. The state is helping me pay for my rent and i have food stamps... I hope he pays child support soon. The kids are growing sooo fast like weeds. They don't stay in the same clothes long.
