I'm 21 and I have a 4 year old daughter.
The father of my daughter and I broke up 2 1/2 years ago (we just didn't get on) we get on well now but my biggest problem is I'm 12 weeks pregnant with my second child and I'm single again and finding it hard with lack of support etc.
The father of this second child and I were together but he cheated on me even after he knew I was pregnant, promosing marriage etc.
Him and I are finding it very difficult to even be friends as I tried to forgive him and offered a friendship that could lead to a relationship, but this past weekend I found out he was still seeing this girl (who happened to be my best mate) I went nato at him and told him I don't even want to be friends. I gave him ample opprtunity to tell me she was there over the weekend, but he kept lying and saying she wasn't and that he wouldn't do that cos he loved me etc etc. Her and I met for coffee as my daughter and her son are good friends and because of everything that has happened they hadn't seen each other for a while and thats when I found out, that all this time since I was 6 weeks pregnant he has been lying to me, she hadn't, she'd been telling me but I thought she was just trying to cause trouble (because of previous trouble she had caused between me and my ex), I stupidly believed my ex.
But yeah I'm just wanting some friends to chat with.

Hi, zephyr! I'm 20 something too.

What is it like to raise a child in New Zealand!!?? I saw all the Lord of the Rings, it looks soooo beautiful!!!!!! Maybe someday, if I get married, and don't become an old spinster with a computer, I'd like to honeymoon there.

It's so good that you and and her can talk over coffee. It'll make things easier on your daughter. What's your girl's name?

Do you live in the countryside?

My daughters name is Rose.

I think we've got it lucky here in N.Z raising children. In the big cities like Auckland where housing is so expensive I think it might be a little harder but in the town I live in, things are reasonable regarding money, I guess its a matter of, if you don't ask for help you dont get it - in my experience anyway, things may be different for other people.

LOTR's was good! alot of the scenery is very much like in the movie, there are some really beautiful places over here. I don't live out in the country, but I have done, and because the town I live by is so close, you can live in some neat country spots and still be only 20-30 minutes away from town central.
