I'M SOOOO STRESSED OUT. i'M A FULLTIME EMPLOYEE DURING THE DAY AND THEN A FULLTIME MOM TO TWO BOYS WHO ARE BOTH IN SCHOOL. IT SEEMD LIKE I HAVE NO TIME FOR ANYTHING. I WORK FROM 7A.M. TIL 4P.M. ON TUES., THURS., FRI., SAT., AND SUN., MY PAY SUCKS. THE CHILD SUPPORT FOR MY OLDEST SON HAS NOT KICKED IN YET AND FOR MY SECOND SON MY CHECKS COME FROM NEW ORLEANS( YES WHERE THE HURRICANE HIT). I'M STRUGGLING TO GET BY. I ASKED MY SONS OLDEST FATHER FOR HELP AND HIM AND HIS GF CALLES ME A H*E AND HER MAN IS NOT MY SONS FATHER BUT MY SON IS HIS FATHER IDENTICAL TWIN. I WOULD LIKE TO BET BOTH OF THEM. I SEE THE MAURY SHOW IN MY FUTURE!!! MY SECOND BABYS FATHER SAID HE'S GOING TO VISIT HIS SON AND NEVER SHOWS UP HIS GF HAS HIM ON LOCK AND KEY. WHAT CAN I DO??? I'M GOING CRAZY!!!

Breath..... that's the first thing. I think most of us are in those situations. Working full-time and raising 3 young kids has been more stress than I could have ever imagined (although still happier now than I was married, which is why I'm in this position). IT isn't easy being a single parent that is for sure.

I don't have any great advice except to say you just found a whole boatload of caring people in your same situation which for me has been a huge stress relief!

I say *forget* all of them. Don't worry about what they will and will not do. you know what you have to do. i understand about paychecks not being adequate also. i live in new york city and if you aren't rich or close to it this isn't the place for you. see what your kids want and work from there. if they can be bothered then let them, if not then that is better because you can now eliminate the low loves from your life. don't stress out, your kids need you, as you see nobody else is going to be there for them.
