At A loss for Words - NOT!

Oh where oh where is that Christmas thread?
The one with Christmas gift idea's from Tabby???

I can't find it! Smiler

I've thought of a few idea's for gifts from my children. Thought I'd share in case anyone else needs any last minute gifts. These are going to be made for grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Hugs in a Jar.
A Jar decorated by my son with handwritten notes like: "I love you." "Your the best mamaw ever." "Here's a hug from me to you." "Good for one free visit by me." "You're my angel!" Etc.

Shadow Box.
Walgreens (and other stores) have 6" by 6" shadow boxes for $5.99. Going to make at least one for a few people. For gpa: A pic of my son from baseball season with baseball decoration and a quote like "Papaw's Baseball Star." And for my daughters gma "Nanny's little Princess."

KeyChains.
Simple! Going to have my kids make keychains with beads (possibly letter beads "I love you." Simple, cheap, but meaningful. Everytime they grab their keys, they'll have a reminder of my childrens love for them.

For my dad, an artist / art teacher.
Framed pictures drawn by my children.

And possibly - wooden jewelry boxes lined with felt and decorated by my kids with a sweet poem inside.

Please add your suggestions if you have any!!! Smiler

Thank you Bobby for searching for the thread!

The one I was referring to had suggestions for gifts from kids (by HoneyBeesMom.)

I read the thread you listed though. And - it made me feel better about Christmas! Smiler I almost have everything purchased already but it was nice to have a reminder that it doesn't take much to make our kids smile on Christmas morning!

Smiler I'll have to check with a friend and see what store it is. HHmmm? Can you call them, pay for it, and have them ship it?

Can it not be found on the internet?

Crazy! I've heard those things are sooooo fun!

Hey Bobby!
Try this link http://nintendowii.christmas.mu/index.php?q=wii++console

Ebay, if you trust it seems to have some. Lil' B would have a lot of fun with one of them. They sound cool! Kinda glad I have girls who aren't interested in video games...yet.

Good luck!!

lol...well...lil B is old enough this year to learn the lesson that paying $250 for a Wii in January makes more sense than paying $500 for a Wii in Decemeber Smiler
