I know that the deadline for United Way applications already passed (at least here) but you might check with some of the local churches and community centers. They do a toy giveaway day at our community center so that even the parents that get "adopted" by businesses through United Way can have some unwrapped presents to give from the parent to the child. The guys name is Benny, don't know his last name...his phone number is 213-929-1307...really good guy and he will set up
I have to ask solo dad, are you Benny and just trying to make a quick buck? Cause if the above member doesn't have any extra money for a christmas tree or christmas presents, $240 for season tickets.....well that's just seems like something they probably wouldn't be attempting to do.
