The year is coming to an end. So far I don't have any New Year's Eve plans, which reminds me plenty of people are going to be with their significant others. Oh brother! Maybe I'll spend it with my teens (that's if they don't have any plans of their own) and my mom and siblings. I get the feeling it's a time to spend it with someone special. No soulmate yet. oh well!

Never have had much luck at New Year's. Spent one very special one back in high school with my love....

Now I spend them with my daughter...have since she was born. I woke her up the first year and gave her a kiss and its now tradition to do the same. I may keep my son up this year...don't know b/c of his ADHD and need for routine.

So it'll be my daughter and I and a glass of sparkling grape juice at midnight counting to the ball drop!

That perches in the soul-
And sings the tune without words-
and never stops-at all...

I'm not sure yet how I'll spend mine, but I know it'll be with Gabe. More then likely we'll get some snacks and watch the ball drop on t.v., that or we'll be asleep for midnight. New Years is another sad holiday for me, too much pressure on that needing to spend it with someone special. Just makes me feel even lonelier *sp* (yeah that's so not spelled right lol). Who knows I might get Gabe asleep and then knock back a few.
