It's not just Dad's who have to pay. I pay 1/3 of my take home, and yes he has and continues to make more than I do. It is very difficult to survive being on the other end as well.

One thing dads do NOT have to do and that is look in the mirror and see the scares [fortelling marks] that babys leave before entering our world.

I believe Robin means "one things dads DON'T have to do..."

I can say this from talking with many dads who were with their partners during pregnancy, that the weight gain part is shared. Yes, the dads who were there for the pregnancy seemed to gain wieght as well. I did. Wierd huh?

Yea! NOT is better and Yea! edited...

I am not talking about gain I mean the streach marks, the flabby, saggy belly.

No bikini thongs for me anymore! One piece is more my style. And I hate the white belly that it creates!
Errg...

Yea yea...
I know the equal right has given way to having the mom NC to pay the same. But I think that there should be some kind of consideration to what the womens body went through.

I know... I know I can already here the guys here...
But, really... some kind of allowance for the new suit a women has to wear [called a body].
It is not so much the weight gain as it is the flabby saggy stuff, that is well earned but wish it would go away too.
And my once perky girls are no longer with me.

They abruply moved south when my boys came.

Some kind of allotment, maybe court ordered plastic surg where the guy pays. Eeker

Just a thought thou, dont slam me to hard on this one!

Peace
Robin

Robin! What a bright and logical idea!

We either get court ordered surgery or an extra credit for it.

Hhhhmmmmm - I think you're onto something here!

Does that apply to the emotional stresses and damage caused by flying ashtrays and spatulas that bounce off the father's head during the 5 months prior to the birth?

The lawyers are going to love you girls. Big Grin

Nope - The emotional stress is allowed due to hormones Jaydsdad! That's something that's already been confirmed!

Hey Jay that [emotional stresses and damage caused by flying ashtrays and spatulas that bounce off the father's head during the 5 months ] can be a civil action case.

That stuff already on the books!

But my girls, how I miss them so... Razzer

First, my condolences for your girls Robin Smiler

Second, I just had to say in my situation, considering the topic at hand, I must be at least making up for the stretch mark credits. I'm raising my 13 year old daughter since the age of 8 with no child support being paid to me, even though I paid child support for those first 8 years while I was the NCP. Hmmm, not sure I feel the balance though.......

I would like an added allowance to take the extra skin on my belly and stuff it into the places that could use it... you know, filler of sorts.
