Tuition is due for Jack in a week. $470..

I haven't purchached a stitch of school clothes for him.. or a single school supply..

My washer exploded yesterday, I called the repair guy, HE says that the transmission is broken. Repair bill is $240, I only paid $220 for the washer. I hafta get a new one..

The topping on the cake?? I get my August child support check for $13.50..

BUT.... I've given it to God, He'll take care of it. I'm chillin' in the meantime, chowing on a barbequed rib.. Big Grin

What is with the washers? (got a new one being delivered tomorrow, hey my toilet overflowed 2 days after the washer broke with no towels.... does that help?

Seriously, somehow things always work out. I don't know how but that is often where I hang my hat because there is nothing else to do.

I never do school clothes shopping until after school starts. It is always warm and they never need Fall stuff anyway so don't worry about that, he's got clothes right? (I'm talking wearable that fit, that's all he needs)

I do not understand how $13.50 can be considered child support. That wouldn't buy my kids milk for the WEEK! ARGH!

I hear you, loud and clear
single mom here my ex pay 53$ a month for our ds only we don't receive it
I could care less about the support
I wish my ex had spent more time with our two kids
it is almost too late now
they are so used to him not being around
all of us learned not to count on him
how sad for kids to have grown up like this
they tell me they are okay but there are somedays when he patronizing way gets to me
finally I told him but I still grieve for what they lost for what they lost out on
all because he was and is a deadbeat dad
and I hate that terminology because it makes it seem a slight against them and they don't deserve that
I just wish he had done the right thing by them but now it is just too late
too little too late
thanks for letting me vent
that 53$ would barely feed our ds and it is for a month
what a joke
fought for over five years for support to be paid for our kids
the money means nothing
for the first time in almost a year he had a visit with our ds bfd
wahoo
pathetic
sorry this is kind of long and a little off topic but I hear you loud and clear
guess I am just tired of the *bologna*
thanks

Hey leftie, I hope the barbecued ribs were at least tasty Smiler
Sorry to hear about the washer, yours too Sue. Darned appliances and it's crazy that they are cheaper to replace than repair anymore, our disposable society I like to call it.
Anyway, I hope things work out for you with the tuition and all.
