I am New to SFV |
I just joined this site; really needed people to commiserate with. I'm not sure what I can do with my basic membership. I really wanted to be able to talk to other members and share some ideas and hopefully get some much needed "already been there, done that' advice.

I can't say I know how well CSE handles things where you're at..... But, seems to me that if you try to sue in civil court it's going to cost you in attorney's fees etc, still no gaurantee that he'll actually pay, after all even if you win it's still just a court order demanding he pays. Where as CSE handles it all for you at no charge, and it's basically the same thing....a court order to pay. If they actually use the enforcement tools that they have at their disposal then you "should" be just as likely, maybe more likely?, to collect the arrears that way, considering the liens, licenses they can revoke etc.
