I finally got the paperwork for our child support case in the mail yesterday! It included an order for "ongoing child support", back support from the day Lexi was born (but I see that being reduced since we lived together until just over a year ago), reimbursement for the girls' birth expenses (which was less than $300 total out-of-pocket), and a "proportionate share" of child care expenses. Waaahoooooo!! Plus, he has to provide health insurance and pay his portion of anything that's not covered.

The court date is April 12. It says I don't have to be there, but I'm seriously considering going just in case he decides it's a good time to lie about anything. As you can imagine, I'm estatic with the whole thing. Also, I am sending a certified letter to him tomorrow to tell the him that all payments he has made to me over the past year will be considered repayment of what I loaned him last winter to get him out of the house...instead of child support. I've asked him several times to clarify what he was paying with no response, so I may as well make that determination myself. Either way, he owes me and the girls lots of money.

Did you say both girls in the bed already? I am waiting on mine to get finished with mandated homework. No more putting things off. Oh, I decided to put mine off til tomorrow (shhhh don't tell Evie). Better to have a clear head and that isn't the case right now.

Thanks, guys. The more I think about it, the more I want to be there. This morning I put in for leave on that day. I'd rather be there unnecessarily than regret not going.
