The tax return? He took it.

The money in our shared bank account? Skipped town with it.

Valuables? Bye-bye.

The bills? He didn't pay them, leaving me to cover months of back-due bills.

My current bills? Working full-time and only wishing my paycheck would cover them all. I only pay $336 for mortgage, $335 for vehicle, $320 for childcare, groceries, and utilities...no extras like cable or cell phone...major penny pinching goin' on here!

What now? I'm one haaaaaaaaappy camper!

Today, the judge ordered him to start paying $85 a week in child support and we'll get the first check in a week! And, she's gonna make him cough up half of the money that he took off with! This is the happiest I've been in a while. I'm not one to stress out over money issues, but I've had to sell almost everything I own to keep food on the table for the past few months. My babies and I will be so much better off now that he's court-ordered to become responsible. I've posted some sad things here before and thought I'd share this triumphant moment with y'all. There's finally a light at the end of this tunnel. I hope that this brief moment of good fortune is contagious...
