ok guys my ex bf just got an email from this girl who says that she needs his address because shes sending him child support papers. The thing is he doesnt know if this kid is his. I mean the child is 18 months old. How come she never said anything before now about child support. And another thing is I think she just wants him to be the dad to have a baby sitter. She gave her child to her mother because she has other things to do right now. And its actually her mother and her taking my ex to court. Personally I think shes mad that my ex is doing something for our son and not for hers. I mean shes had me watch this child when me and my ex were together and at no time did she say oh by the way your bf is my childs father. So I guess my question is even though child support papers have been filed can he still ask for a paternity test. And please dont think that Im jealous or something of this girl, me and my ex have just started to get along and I told him I would help him.

is his name on the birth certificate? it is my understanding that unless his name is on the birth ceritificate then they will have to do a paternity test. check with your local offices.. he can always request a paternity test to my understanding.

he doesnt know if he is because shes saying that she put him on the bc but he didnt sign anything. shes a witch i tell ya.

If she is going after him for child support then she has to have VALID proof of paternity whether it be his signature on the BC, any type of letter or paper that he signed admitting he was the father, witnesses that can prove that he stated outright that he was the father, or a paternity test. If she doesn't have anything, then a paternity test will be done before they can even go and process the request for child support.

Look if he goes to court they order a paternity test anyways. I think this is a classic case of jealously. She's mad that he takes care of your son than hers. I wouldn't worry about it until those papers come back saying whether thats his child or not.

Don't let that girl bother you go to court see what happens if he is the childs father then hes pays child support but that doesnt have to ruin anything does it? She still gonna be a messy person regardless. SO don't worry right now wait and see what the court says. Thats my opinion
