Hi, they will likely ask him for more money for your child. Although they will take into consideration what he is already paying for the first in their formula. To date I've never heard of them taking away any of the support already being paid for the first child, but often means the second child won't get as much. Lots depends on the income/expense forms that are filled out and their "formula" for figuring child support for the area you live in.

it seems it depends on the state. ny state doesn't care how many kids he has to support with how many women every kid gets a % of his pay and not after other support orders have been taken out. 1 child is 15% of his pay 2 children 25% of pay and so on.
check with your local cp unit.

OMG...if this don't beat all...Your last input regarding Mr. Wright had me dying laughing over here...THAT WILL BE THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY WORKING DAY....lollllllllllll for realllll....

Now seriously, for the young lady seeking advice...It depends on the state. California pays a percentage, but not much of a percentage when the list grows longer with children and deadbeatssssssssssss creating them....

Call your local CHILD SUPPORT AGENCY.....

Best Wishes....
