Question for anyone who has applied for child support in New York City, specifically Manhattan. How long approximately did it take for NYC CS to process the paperwork?
My kids' father is currently living and working somewhere in Manhattan and it is taking a very long time for them to process the paperwork, so I was just curious as to how long I would be waiting. |

Oops...too quick on the button with first post. Normally it takes about two months to schedule a court date (can be sooner but depends on court schedule). Since you are filing from out of state, I am not sure how that would work. Are u going to show up in court or does he have to show up in Florida? All the best in the mean time.
