I still haven't heard anything from the courts (the judge hasn't signed off on the warrent OR the motion to quash) but I did go up to the courts and filed a responce to his motion to quash his warrent. I mentioned in my responce everything that he has told the girls about not having anything to do with them until I drop the case and also that he was at home when he was supposed to appear in court (his motion to quashstated that he was out of town looking for work) .......we will see what happens.

The ball is finaly in my court The judge denied his motion to quash the warrent so now he has a warrent....it's just a matter of time.....gee, do I sound a bit vindictive?

Yeah, unfortunately around here they won't go to the person's house and pick them up if it's not a criminal warrant for something major like murder. If it's just CS or something small they will keep the warrant on the books, and if he were to get pulled over for a traffic violation and his license were run they'd haul him in then, but they won't "waste the manpower" to go out and pick him up. Go figure.

So here is an update on the ******* and the warrent situation....

The judge ruled Not to quash his warrent a few weeks ago, since then I have called the PD 3 times and told them his location....NOTHING has happend....

He still has not tried to contact his girls...they now don't want anything to do with him...they say that it doesn't hurt, but I know that it does.

He sent one of his crack hoars into the courts yesterday to see what he needed to do to Quash (she said squash) his warrent....they told her to tell him to pay his CS and he wouldn't have to deal with this....

I went outside this morning and found a note attched to my windshield that read:

Do you want me out on the streets pushing dope because thats what is going to happen. Before I moved I had no electricity no gas and at least 2 months behind on all utilities because I didn't want to get back into that **** now I have a warrent for my arrest with a $3000.00 cash only bond. I did find work but I can't start until the warrent is taken care of and it only pays $8.00 per hour. I am asking you to drop this and I will give you as much as I can every month. If the warrent does not get lifted then I will be forced to start dealing and we already know where that will lead!


uhhh huuu......I already know that he has been dealing! He has been giving me these excuses for 13 years now. He has already demolished the love and respect of his daughters! He has been putting these girls on the back burner all their life and I am always giving him another chance to get back on his feet! NO MORE! I'm done! He can rott in prison for all I care! Call me a heartless bitch but I'm DONE!

I don't see anything wrong with you wanting him to be responsible. I would not do anything about the back CS or the warrant, I made that mistake and now my kids suffer. He needs to take care of his own problems not ask you to bail him out.

I have bailed him out way to many times. He went to prison 4 1/2 years ago for sales of Meth, he did a 3 year sentence. Before he went in he owed around $5000.00 and I waived the fee and set CS to 0 until he was released. I could not see racking up the money while he was locked up. I took the girls to see him at least every other month (8 hour round trip), paid all of his collect calls to them and THEY had to put up with visiting him in a prison atmosphere and being searched and everything that goes with it. He has been out for 1 1/2 years now and still hasn't stepped up to the plate. I even took a 2nd job bartending until 2AM and had him watch the girls so that I could make ends meet....he couldn't even show up to watch them half of the time! How far out of my way do I have to go for this *******? NO MORE!

My oldest is an adopted stepson, his dad traded back CS for parental rights, so that says what kind of a man he was then. Now this clown wants Brent to change his name back and Brent no way. So your ex is doing himself in as the girls will turn their backs on him years down the road and he is the one that will suffer in the end.

I think you are doing the right thing. He needs to take credit for what he is doing and not expect others to fix things for him.

Yeah, you're definitely not heartless about this Mashell, but then you already know that He did this all to himself and the shame is your girls that he's letting down. Hopefully they'll catch up with him by chance at least very soon.

So heres an update:

X is still out running around. He is living with his mom now....cops STILL have not picked him up...

He has once again petitioned the court to quash the warrent (they ruled to not quash it once). This time he paid a $127.00 filing fee to the court (funny, can't pay support but he can come up with a fee).... He told the court that he has a job that pays $8.00 but ONLY if they quash.... So the judge looked at the file today and is trying to get with the CS Director to see if the State has any objections to him quashing the warrent. WTF? They already told him no once...now he is taking it into consideration?? At least I know that the CS guy is sick of Kelly's BS, he has only been jacking the system around for the past 13 years!

That's crazy......the only thing I can think of is maybe the judge thought he had the filing fee waived for low income or something. Either way, it sounds like his game of "trying to work" just might work out for the time being. I wonder what the judge will do next time if he does quash this and he still isn't paying support.
The system is just too unpredictable.

All I can do is laugh anymore when I try to think of what the judge will do next.
