How do you handle health insurance for yourself (I know about how I'd get it for the kids) while staying at home full time?

I'm almost to a breaking point myself and was curious.

I completely understand B. I have gone for over a year without health insurance because even through my school it would be over $300.00 a month. My kids are covered but I just can;t see spending that kind of money. I know there are insurances that are discount insurances and are like 30.00 to 60.00 per month but I have not checked into whether the discounts are substantial enough to make up for the premium.

At this point, I'm posting actively for new employment to see if I can find anything that will make me happier and have good insurance. I just feel like I should be able to stay at home with my kids and get a real education and possibly a life. It's a pauper's dream I know.

I was just curious to find out if the parent's, who are attending school full time and staying at home with the kids, were able to keep themself insured. I'm not a healthy person and come close sometimes to qualifying for disability. I have to have insurance no matter what.
